Getting started

Do I need to create an account?
No. Open the app and start talking immediately — there’s no sign-up, login, or email required. Your practice is stored on your device.
What do I need to begin?
An Android phone, a microphone (built-in is fine), and an internet connection. Pick a topic chip or just start speaking.
What English level is Velivox for?
It suits anyone who can form basic sentences and wants to speak more fluently and confidently. The conversation naturally adapts to how you talk.

Using the app

What is hands-free mode?
A continuous mode where you just talk, like a phone call. Velivox detects when you’ve finished speaking, replies in a natural voice, and starts listening again — no buttons.
How does saving vocabulary work?
Tap any word in the conversation to instantly see it translated into your language, along with the sentence it appeared in. It’s saved automatically so you can review it later.
Which voices are available?
Four natural voices: US and UK, male and female. You can change the voice any time in settings.
Which interface languages are supported?
14, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Turkish. You always practise English — only the interface is localised.

Privacy & pricing

Is my voice recorded or stored?
No. Your speech is transcribed so the AI can reply, then discarded. We don’t keep voice recordings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is Velivox free?
Yes — you get 5 minutes of real conversation every day at no cost, with all voices and full vocabulary features. Velivox Pro removes the daily limit and adds hands-free continuous mode.
How do subscriptions and cancellation work?
Velivox Pro is available as weekly, monthly, or yearly plans through your app store. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or cancelled any time in your app-store account settings. See the Terms of Service.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, so refunds follow that store’s policy. Contact the store directly; we’ll help where we can.
