Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Infivion LLC (“Velivox”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Velivox mobile application (the “App”). We built Velivox to be private by design: there is no account to create, and we keep only what is needed to make the App work.

⚖️ This document is a structured template and a starting point. It should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer (mobile subscriptions, GDPR, CCPA) and the bracketed placeholders completed before public release.

1 Information We Collect

1.1 Voice input

When you speak to the App, your audio is sent to our speech-to-text providers to be transcribed so the AI can respond. We do not store voice recordings. Audio is processed transiently and discarded after transcription.

1.2 Conversation content

The text of your conversations and the words you save to your vocabulary are stored locally on your device. They are sent to our AI providers only to generate replies and translations.

1.3 Profile preferences

Optional information you enter (such as a first name, age range, country, or native language) is stored locally on your device to personalise the experience. It is not tied to an account.

1.4 Subscription status

If you purchase a subscription, our payments partner processes the transaction and provides us with your subscription status (active/expired). We never receive or store your full payment-card details.

1.5 Technical & diagnostic data

Basic technical data (such as device type, OS version, and anonymous error/diagnostic logs you choose to share with support) may be processed to keep the App stable and secure.


2 How We Use Your Information

  • To transcribe your speech and generate real-time conversational replies
  • To translate words you tap and build your saved vocabulary
  • To deliver, maintain, secure, and improve the App
  • To process and validate subscriptions
  • To respond to support requests you send us

3 Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver core functionality we share the minimum necessary data with trusted processors:

  • Speech-to-text & AI language providers — to transcribe audio and generate replies and translations
  • Text-to-speech provider — to convert replies into natural voice audio
  • Subscription/billing provider — to process and validate in-app purchases
  • Cloud hosting provider — to operate the backend service

These providers act as data processors under their own data-processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.


4 Data Retention

Voice audio is discarded immediately after transcription. Conversation history and saved vocabulary remain on your device until you clear them or uninstall the App. Subscription records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.


5 Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. To make a request, contact us at support@velivox.app. Because most data lives on your device, clearing it in-app or uninstalling the App also removes it.


6 Children’s Privacy

Velivox is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.


7 Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


8 International Transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used for such transfers.


9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
